K-Indie Sensation 0018 Returns With Emotionally Rich EP ‘Holding’
South Korean indie artist 0018 (공공일팔) is making an emotional return with a brand-new EP titled ‘Holding’ (파지), released globally on June 23 via the international music platform Aurora. Distributed by Danal Entertainment, the six-track project encapsulates the artist’s tender and reflective songwriting style that has become his signature since his official debut in December 2023.
The EP’s title track, ‘If Only You’re Here’ (오직 그대만 있어 준다면), is a captivating blend of indie rock and folk, exploring the pure and uncomplicated nature of love. 0018 pens a sincere message about how true affection doesn’t ask for much beyond the presence of the one you love—communicated through his distinctively soft yet poignant vocals.
Other standout tracks on the EP include ‘The Closer We Are, The Further We Feel’, ‘White Paper’, ‘Fading Regret’, ‘In the Name of Memories’, and ‘In Your Arms’. Each song feels like a separate scene from a cutting-edge indie film, collectively painting a deeply personal story for the listener.
This latest release holds special meaning for 0018 as it’s his first album launched after being selected for the Aurora Muse program—a promotional campaign that includes integration with music services in 249 countries and a tailored album link tree, further propelling his reach on the global stage.
The moniker 0018 represents the fusion of eternity (‘00’) and youthful sincerity (‘18’)—signifying his mission to pursue music with genuine purity. Rather than riding flashy trends, 0018 stays authentic, delivering music with heart, grace, and poetic lyricism.
With ‘Holding’, 0018 adds another powerful chapter to his emerging discography, reaffirming his place in the ever-growing global K-Indie scene—where emotion meets storytelling in its rawest form.
