K-Drama Star Go Youn-jung Dazzles as CHANEL Ambassador in ELLE Korea Cover Shoot
Korean actress Go Youn-jung is making waves both on and off screen, gracing the cover of ELLE Korea’s May edition with elegance and effortless charm. As an ambassador for CHANEL, Go flawlessly showcased pieces from the brand’s latest collection, cementing her status as a new-generation style icon in the Hallyu world.
In the accompanying interview, the actress shared heartfelt insights into her recent life and ongoing projects. ‘I recently wrapped filming for Resident Playbook and Do You Know This Love Translation?,’ she revealed. ‘It’s my first real break since debuting, and I thought I’d enjoy the rest—but surprisingly, I quickly got bored! I even show up on dubbing days when I don’t have any lines scheduled.’
Speaking about her upcoming work, Go expressed her mix of excitement and pride. ‘This period before a project’s release is always the most fulfilling for me. I genuinely hope viewers enjoy what we’ve been working on.’
In Resident Playbook, a spinoff of the beloved Hospital Playlist franchise released on April 12, Go transformed herself into Oh Yi-young, a first-year OB-GYN resident. Highlighting the experience, she noted the strong bond among the cast: ‘The juniors would ask me questions, and in answering them, I learned a lot myself. We became more comfortable as time passed.’
Reflecting on her acting journey, Go shared, ‘The more I act, the more I crave untapped experiences. Noticing my own shortcomings drives me to improve. I always aim to be a better version of myself than I was the day before.’
With a blend of elegance and authenticity, Go Youn-jung continues to rise as one of Korea’s most promising young talents—on screen, in fashion, and beyond.
