K-Drama ‘Spring of Youth’ Drops Fiery New OST ‘FIRE (FFWF)’ Sung by The Crown’s Former Vocalist

SBS drama Spring of Youth returns with explosive OST FIRE FFWF sung by HAYUJOON

The much-anticipated second OST from SBS’s youthful music romance drama Spring of Youth is here—and it’s on fire. On June 8 at 6 PM KST, the new OST track titled “FIRE (FFWF)”, performed by Spring of Youth’s lead character SAKYE (played by HAYUJOON), will be released through various music platforms.

This energetic band number blends searing electric guitar riffs with an addictive chorus, delivering a blaze of emotion. FIRE (FFWF) was recorded by SAKYE, who once served as the lead vocalist of top K-pop band The Crown within the show. The song’s raw lyrics, pledging to melt a cold heart with the same fire that once scorched the protagonist, mirror the fierce passion and unresolved feelings between estranged lovers.

HAYUJOON, who breathes life into the character SAKYE, is no stranger to the drama’s soundtrack. Along with fellow members of his real-life band AxMxP, he contributed to the show’s first OST release, further enhancing the immersive emotional journey of the lead character. Notably, FIRE (FFWF) first lit up audiences during a dramatic performance scene in Episode 1, becoming a fan-favorite even before its official release.

Premiered on June 6, Spring of Youth follows the fall and redemption of SAKYE, the former star of The Crown, after being ousted from the group. As he navigates a chaotic college life, he crosses paths with KIM BOM (played by PARK JI-HOO), reigniting his passion and kicking off a riveting music-fueled romance. The drama airs every Wednesday at 10:40 PM KST on SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System).
