JYP Entertainment’s Rookie Group Kickflip Takes the Stage by Storm with ‘FREEZE’ Comeback
JYP Entertainment’s newest boy group sensation, Kickflip, is turning heads once again with the release of the second teaser for their upcoming title track ‘FREEZE’. The teaser, dropped via JYP’s official social media on May 22, builds anticipation for their much-awaited comeback on May 26 with their second mini-album Kick Out, Flip Now!.
The explosive teaser showcases the group of seven performing sharp, synchronized choreography on a graffiti-laced set, exuding youthful rebellion and artistic tension. Fans quickly took to social platforms to rave over the group’s powerful presence and flawless teamwork.
Kickflip’s upcoming release comes just four months after their debut mini-album Flip it, Kick it! and breakout track Mama Said. This time, the second EP features seven tracks, including ‘FREEZE’, ‘Electricity’, ‘Complicated!!’, ‘Code Red’, and ‘How We Kick Flip’, further showcasing the rookie group’s dynamic musical range. Notably, the members have participated in the production of several tracks, highlighting their potential as multi-talented artists.
As excitement brews for their official comeback, Kickflip has also announced plans to take their talent global with high-profile festival appearances this summer. The group will perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago from July 31 to August 3, followed by Summer Sonic Bangkok on August 23-24, solidifying their reputation as the next K-pop stage masters.
To celebrate their comeback, Kickflip will hold a showcase at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul on May 26 at 8 PM, just hours after the release of Kick Out, Flip Now! and title track ‘FREEZE’ at 6 PM KST.
