Jung Kyung-ho Shines on ENA’s ‘I Miss You’ with Hilarious Banter and Behind-the-Scenes Stories
Korean actor Jung Kyung-ho returns to the small screen with his trademark charm and wit, appearing as a guest on the 11th episode of ENA’s variety show Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young’s I Miss You, airing on June 18 at 9:50 PM KST.
Known for his roles in hit dramas like I’m Sorry, I Love You and the beloved Wise Life Series, Jung dives into humorous and candid tales from his career. He also teases fans with details about his upcoming drama Lawyer No Jin, explaining his character’s unique ability to see the ghosts of workers who tragically died from industrial accidents. He’ll be sharing the screen with Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon.
His segment takes an emotional turn as Jung expresses heartfelt admiration for actress Jeon Do-yeon, his co-star in One Strong Scandal. “Just being in the frame with her was like living a dream,” he reveals.
Jung also entertains with a story from the cult black comedy film Rollercoaster, directed by actor Ha Jung-woo. Calling Ha his biggest inspiration, Jung says, “I decided to attend Sungkyunkwan University Department of Theater and Film because of him. He taught me what acting truly is.”
The episode takes a more personal twist as Jung recalls his fandom for Choi Hwa-jung‘s radio show Choi Hwa-jung’s Power Time, confessing he sent countless messages to get featured. His loyalty and admiration didn’t go unnoticed as the stars shared laughs over his past attempts.
Jung clears the air on his recent cameo in a yet-untitled extension of the Doctor’s Life series. Denying that it was a surprise guest appearance, he jokes, “It’s just a continuation. Those people are always filming something!” He doesn’t shy away from teasing fans with possible hints about future stories, especially with the ring-wearing scene involving Kim Jun-wan‘s character, prompting speculation about a third season.
When asked by hosts Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young if the third season of Doctor’s Life is in the works or if his character has married, Jung playfully responds, “I don’t know… maybe,” stoking fans’ curiosity further.
Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young’s I Miss You now airs at a new time slot—every Tuesday at 9:50 PM on ENA.
