Veteran actor Jung Kyung-ho is back in action, this time portraying a character in the hit legal drama genre. Known for his diverse roles in various professional settings, Jung is now taking on the role of a labor attorney in MBC’s upcoming series.

A Stellar Cast and Crew

The press conference for MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Noh Moo-jin, Labor Attorney’ featured Jung Kyung-ho, Seol In-ah, Cha Hak-yeon, and director Im Soon-rye discussing their enthusiasm for the script.

Jung explained why he chose this particular drama: “The script was incredibly engaging. I didn’t hesitate at all and immediately decided to do it.”

Seol In-ah added, “Working with director Im Soon-rye and Jung Kyung-ho was something I always wanted. The character felt alive and intriguing.”

Actor Cha Hak-yeon commented, “The comedic elements drew me in. It’s a character I hadn’t explored before, making it an exciting challenge.”

Director’s First Foray into Drama

Director Im Soon-rye, known for films like ‘The Best Moment of Our Lives’ and ‘Little Forest’, ventures into drama for the first time with ‘Noh Moo-jin, Labor Attorney’. She shared her thoughts, saying, “The materials and script were captivating. Despite advice warning about the difficulties in drama production, it proved to be quite enjoyable.”

Versatile Performances and Dynamic Chemistry

Jung Kyung-ho, acclaimed as a professional role actor, expressed his delight in taking on roles starkly different from his own real life, adding excitement and depth to his acting career.

His chemistry with co-stars Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon caught the spotlight. “We have a great balance,” Jung mentioned. “Their energy is infectious and complements my quieter demeanor perfectly.”

Seol In-ah was compared to renowned actor Jo Jung-suk, with Jung Kyung-ho humorously advising that she could lead a group if she were an idol, to which MC Park Kyoung-lim quipped in agreement.

Plot and Production

‘Noh Moo-jin, Labor Attorney’ will delve into the adventures of a ghost-seeing labor attorney tackling labor issues in a comedic fantasy setting. The fusion of expertise from ‘The Point Men’ writer Kim Bo-tong and ‘I Can Speak’ writer Yoo Seung-hee adds layers to the show.

The first episode airs at 9:50 PM on MBC, promising an engaging blend of humor and poignant narratives.
