A Fresh Weekend Experience for Drama Enthusiasts

JTBC’s New Weekend Strategy

JTBC is making waves this July with an exciting new programming strategy that will have drama enthusiasts glued to their screens. By launching the Friday Series at 8:50 PM every Friday, JTBC is expanding its weekend drama offerings to include a double feature of weekend dramas.

Friday Series Lineup

The anticipation is building as the Friday Series kicks off with the drama Good Boy starring Lee Dong-wook and Lee Sung-kyung. This emotional noir follows Park Seok-cheol, a surprising gentleman from a notorious gangster family, and his first love, aspiring singer Kang Mi-young.

Joining the lineup is My Youth, featuring impeccable chemistry between Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee. Directed by Lee Sang-yeop and Go Hye-jin, the series promises to explore unique character dynamics.

Another anticipated addition is Love Me with the ever-talented Seo Hyun-jin. Directed by Jo Young-min and written by Park Eun-young and Park Hee-gwon, this show delves deep into the intricate nuances of family melodrama.

Continuing Success on Weekend Dramas

JTBC’s weekend drama slate continues to be a hit, with shows like The World of the Married, Reborn Rich, and Doctor Cha capturing audiences’ hearts. The lineup also features must-watch new entries such as Esquire: Lawyers Dreaming of Being Lawyers and Memories of a Hundred Times, each bringing fresh perspectives to the courtroom drama and romantic retro narrative respectively.

Consistent Top Performer

JTBC has consistently topped the charts, evidenced by a 56% increase in 2025’s ratings as compared to the previous year. This ratings success is supported by the audience’s immense appreciation, as seen in the KI Audience Index results.

With the new Friday Series and continued strength in weekend dramas, JTBC aims for yet another golden year in television. Tune in every Friday at 8:50 PM for a double dose of drama adventure.
