Jo Jung-suk Named Most Influential Actor of 2025 at Brand Customer Loyalty Awards
Jo Jung-suk has been crowned the Most Influential Male Actor (Film) of 2025 at the Brand Customer Loyalty Awards, as announced by the Korea Consumer Forum on April 8. This prestigious title reaffirms his status as one of Korea’s most trusted and beloved performers.
The Brand Customer Loyalty Awards annually ranks and honors top Korean brands based on consumer loyalty. Utilizing the Brand Key Consumer Loyalty Index (BCLI) jointly developed by the Korea Consumer Forum and a top-ten U.S.-based research and consulting firm, the awards reflect insight from a combination of online reputation, media analysis, social media presence, and third-party certifications.
This year, over 286 brands were initially shortlisted in a rigorous preliminary study and then surveyed by consumers over a 14-day period, from March 17 to March 30. Jo’s consistent branding and public trust helped him rise to the top of the list.
Debuting in 2004 with the musical The Nutcracker, Jo Jung-suk has since shown remarkable versatility across musical theatre, film, and television. From captivating stage performances in Hedwig to key roles in acclaimed films like Architecture 101, The Face Reader, and EXIT, Jo has built a solid filmography that includes dramas such as Nokdu Flower, Jealousy Incarnate, Hospital Playlist, and Sejak: The Enchanted.
Jo’s authenticity and dedication to his craft have not gone unnoticed. His previous accolades include a Presidential Commendation at the Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards, Best Actor at the Chunsa Film Art Awards, and Best Actor in Film at the Baeksang Arts Awards. The Brand Customer Loyalty Award is the latest testament to his enduring popularity and influence.
Adding to his momentum, Jo is set to appear on the big screen this July in the upcoming film Zombie Daughter, expected to bring a refreshing twist to the summer box office season.
