BTS member Jin ranked first in May Comeback Idol vote as excitement builds for Echo release and tour

Jin, the oldest member of Bulletproof Boy Scouts (BTS), has once again demonstrated his explosive popularity by securing the top spot in the ‘May Comeback Idol’ rankings on the idol ranking service, Choeaedol. The voting, which ran from April 21 to May 8, placed Jin at number one, outshining even the most prominent K-pop groups.

Seventeen followed closely behind in second place. Jin’s solo performance in the competition highlights his unmatched influence and fan loyalty across the K-pop industry.

As the top winner, Jin will be featured on a major media screen located at the Magic Circle in Lotte World. This high-profile ad support celebrates his latest milestone and adds to the visibility of his upcoming solo activities.

Jin has been sweeping various polls and rankings recently. Notably, he snagged the first place for ‘Non-Drama TV Personality Buzz Ranking’ with his appearance on the original Netflix variety show ‘Daehwanjang Gianzang’. The show’s immense popularity led it to top Netflix’s Korean content list and become the first non-reality variety series to enter the global charts under Korea’s Netflix Originals.

The K-pop icon will release his second mini album ‘Echo’ on May 16 at 1 PM KST. Following the album drop, he will embark on his first solo global fan concert tour starting June 28 in South Korea. The tour will continue through nine cities including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, as well as Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the United States. It will also reach London in the UK and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, with a total of 18 concerts planned, promising a thrilling celebration for fans worldwide.
