BTS member Jin makes UK chart history as Echo and Dont Say You Love Me rank high

Jin of BTS is making waves around the globe with his latest solo mini album Echo, officially debuting in the UK Official Albums Top 100 at #63 for the week of May 23 to 29. This marks Jin’s first-ever solo entry on the British chart, one of the two most prestigious music rankings globally alongside Billboard.

Beyond this impressive milestone, Echo also soared in sub-charts: it ranked 3rd in Album Downloads, 8th in Album Sales, and 15th in Physical Albums, cementing Jin’s global fanbase across digital and physical formats.

The album’s lead single, Don’t Say You Love Me, entered the UK Official Singles Top 100 at #58. Notably, it clinched the #1 spot on all three sub-charts for Single Downloads, Single Sales, and Physical Singles, showcasing strong market performance in multiple categories.

Streaming figures from Spotify further underscore Jin’s solo success. Don’t Say You Love Me achieved #2 on the Daily Top Song Global and secured #7 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Song Global chart for May 16–22. Meanwhile, Echo ranked #11 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global, indicating widespread appreciation of not just the title track but the full album.

The rest of BTS is also continuing their solo momentum on global charts. Jimin’s second solo album MUSE and its title track Who placed #52 on Weekly Top Albums Global and #18 on Weekly Top Song Global, respectively. Jungkook’s debut single Seven (feat. Latto) landed at #95, and V’s evocative collaboration with Park Hyo Shin on Winter Ahead stood at #143.

BTS albums still dominate; the anthology album Proof holds #59 and Jungkook’s first solo album Golden sits at #75 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global.

Looking ahead, Jin is launching his first solo fan concert tour titled #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR starting June 28–29 at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in South Korea. The tour will span 18 performances across 9 cities, including stops in Chiba and Osaka in Japan; Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the United States; and London and Amsterdam in Europe.
