Jimin’s Record-breaking Victory in K-pop Survey

Jimin Tops the Popularity Poll

Jimin of BTS has once again proven his immense popularity among Japanese fans by securing the top spot in the ‘K-pop Male Idol Popularity Contest’ conducted by Danmee. The poll, held from May 13 to May 27, saw Jimin receive 17,146 votes, which accounts for 47.63% of the total 35,996 votes.

Breaking Records

This victory marks Jimin’s 26th consecutive month at number one, setting a new record for the survey. Known for gathering genuine fan opinions, this poll allows only one vote per person and considers various factors including activity index in Korea, brand reputation index, monthly mentions on X (formerly Twitter), and related Danmee articles.

Jimin’s Exemplary Military Service

Jimin, who was commended with the division commander’s award for outstanding training at the military training center, was selected as a ‘special warrior’ in June last year, leading to an early promotion. He recently revealed his background as a ‘Net(4)Fo Ace’, showcasing his dedication to exemplary military life.

Fans are eagerly anticipating Jimin’s return as he has also been ranked first in the ‘Most Anticipated K-pop Idol Discharge in 2025’, with his discharge set for June 11.
