Jimin of BTS Makes Billboard History Again with ‘MUSE’ Album

Jimin becomes the first KPOP soloist to chart two albums over 40 weeks on Billboard

BTS (Beyond the Scene) member Jimin has once again etched his name into Billboard history, solidifying his position as a global music icon. According to the latest Billboard charts dated May 3, Jimin’s second solo album ‘MUSE’ has ranked No. 8 on the World Albums chart, marking 40 consecutive weeks on the list.

This incredible feat makes ‘MUSE’ the first and only K-pop solo album to remain in the top 10 of the World Albums chart for 40 weeks. Jimin had already set a record with his debut solo album ‘FACE’, which charted for an unprecedented 63 weeks on the same chart.

With both ‘FACE’ and ‘MUSE’ spending over 40 weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart, Jimin becomes the first and only K-pop soloist to achieve this milestone with multiple albums. He continues to push boundaries, further proving his unmatched popularity and artistry.

‘FACE’ topped the chart five times, while ‘MUSE’ has taken the No. 1 spot an impressive eight times. Altogether, Jimin has ranked No. 1 on the World Albums chart a total of 13 times, making him a true Billboard history maker among K-pop soloists.

In addition, his title track ‘Who’ from the ‘MUSE’ album continues to chart globally. As of May 3, ‘Who’ has climbed seven spots to No. 66 on the Global 200 and jumped 11 spots to No. 40 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart — both marking its 40th consecutive week on the global stage.

Jimin’s consistent chart success not only highlights his growth as a solo artist but also reinforces his influence beyond BTS, captivating listeners around the world with each release.
