The 20-year industry veteran revealed that her eldest son, now a high school senior, is seriously pursuing a career in acting. “He often gets street-cast offers,” Jang noted. “He’s currently preparing for university entrance while aiming to become an actor.”

In a heartwarming moment, Jang spoke about the affectionate bond between her two sons. “Recently, my younger son kissed and cared for his sick older brother. It was deeply touching,” she said, giving fans a glimpse into their close sibling relationship.

After a two-decade hiatus, Jang is set to make her daily drama comeback through the MBC series The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun. She will star alongside Oh Chang-seok, and her enthusiastic promotion of the show earned her the nickname “PR Fairy.”
