IVE Transforms into Gen Z High Schoolers in Hilariously Iconic Episode of ‘1.2.3 IVE’
K-Pop sensations IVE (An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, Leeseo) are back with Season 6 of their fan-favorite self-produced content series ‘1.2.3 IVE’—and this time, they’ve gone full Gen Z high schooler.
Released through Starship Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, the second episode features the six members entering the fictional Gen Z High, each sporting youthful uniforms and oozing ‘Gen Z energy.’
Leeseo, the only real-life high schooler, kicked things off with a playful nod to K-Food, showing up with a cafeteria tray and casually diving into a bowl of Honey Rice Cake Cereal, charming fans with her quiet mukbang.
The group’s true-friend chemistry was on full display when An Yu-jin asked for just a bite, prompting Rei to hilariously scold, “Not again, Yu-jin! Always stealing food!” Yu-jin cheekily fired back with, “Didn’t I tell you to drop the honorifics?” unleashing a bout of laughter.
From there, the members entered a class president election rivaling real-world campaigns. Rei clenched the leadership position with promises of social media rights and sticker-decorated yearbook photos.
The mischief only escalated during first period self-study as the girls attempted a secret mission: dancing to the track ‘Runaway Guinea’ while passing notes—only to have the deafening footsteps give them away. Rei, ever the class monitor, ultimately won that round.
Period two brought a medley of entertaining K-Pop games, such as AI lyric reading, emoji quizzes, and one-second song challenge. Jang Won-young owned the spotlight, clinching a quick 5-point lead with her razor-sharp reflexes and wit.
Even recess was iconic. The group engaged in the ‘Hambugi Song’ hand game, which ended in a rock-paper-scissors showdown between An Yu-jin and Gaeul. An Yu-jin lost, earning her a quirky penalty: writing her name using only her hips—much to the group’s delight and shock.
Physical education class amped up the chaos with games like ‘Gen Z Dong-Dong – Open the Dongdaemun Gate’ and ‘Photo-op with Eyes Closed’. An Yu-jin and Jang Won-young charging through Gaeul’s arms while laughing uncontrollably turned the gym into comedic mayhem. Ultimately, Gaeul and Liz claimed victory, while Rei took the crown in the photo game.
As the episode wrapped with a graduation ceremony, emotions ran high. “That was ridiculously fun,” “Graduation came too fast,” the girls lamented while snapping their last costume-clad photos. Even as they walked off-screen, they yelled, “Hit us up in the DMs!” showing just how immersed they were in their Gen Z personas.
