Following the title track Never Ending Story, the Miein music video stands out for its witty direction and symbolic storytelling. The video opens with familiar lyrics and melodies that hint at a sense of nostalgia.
The narrative involves a shining-faced boy and a shadowed girl, capturing various moments from their childhood to adulthood. As time passes, the boy dons a mask to hide the discomfort caused by his own light, and he encounters the girl in a similar mask. Their connection deepens in a rooftop scene featuring IU and Cha Eun-woo, where they remove their masks to reveal their true selves during an evocative lyrical moment.
