The vibrant and youthful camaraderie among the residents of Someday Wise Resident Life (Korean title: 언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활) is drawing fans in, with behind-the-scenes photos recently revealed to amplify the wholesome energy of the hit series. The tvN Weekend Drama continues to delight fans with light-hearted medical anecdotes and genuine character growth straight from the halls of fictional Jongno Yulje Medical Center.

tvN released exclusive stills from the set on June 8 showcasing the smiling faces of the first-year residents played by Go Youn-Jung (Oh Yi-Young), Shin Shi-A (Pyo Nam-Kyung), Kang You-Seok (Um Jae-Il), and Han Ye-Ji (Kim Sa-Bi). Seated side by side, flashing peace signs, their joyful demeanor hints at the tight-knit dynamic both on and off-screen. “Their chemistry exudes positivity and suggests just how fun the filming atmosphere is,” commented the production team.

In another scene, Jung Joon-Won, playing the diligent fourth-year resident, shows his seniority by passionately discussing blocking and camera positioning before filming. Meanwhile, Go Youn-Jung is spotted chatting and laughing with staff as she discusses her lines, reflecting her deep involvement in the process.

The series doesn’t just focus on medical chaos but also tugs heartstrings through emotional patient arcs. In Episode 8, actress Park Sung-Yeon delivered a moving performance as Pyo Nam-Kyung’s mother. Captured holding hands in a heart gesture with Shin Shi-A, they offered fans a glimpse of their heartfelt “mother-daughter” chemistry on and off the camera.

Special appearances continue to enrich the drama’s universe. Ahn Eun-Jin, as Choo Min-Ha, plays a mentor to Oh Yi-Young, while Yoo Yeon-Seok as Ahn Jung-Won returns in his guardian role, displaying charming chemistry with Go Youn-Jung and Jung Joon-Won.
