On July 9th, INFINITE, the iconic K-pop boy group, marked their 15th anniversary with a live broadcast on their official YouTube channel. The six members—Kim Sung-kyu, Jang Dong-woo, Nam Woo-hyun, Lee Sung-yeol, L, and Lee Sung-jong—gathered in a festively decorated studio to connect with their global fanbase. Surrounded by shimmering gold balloons, the group sang a birthday song and engaged in a heartfelt cake-cutting ceremony. Fans worldwide joined in virtually, showering their beloved idols with enthusiastic greetings.

A Sold-Out Anniversary Tour

The celebration didn’t stop there. Starting in December, INFINITE embarked on their ‘LIMITED EDITION’ 15th anniversary tour, which kicked off in Seoul and extended to major cities like Taipei, Macau, Jakarta, Singapore, Yokohama, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong, finishing with an encore performance in Incheon. Despite initial concerns about ticket sales, every show sold out, showcasing the enduring appeal and popularity of INFINITE.

Kim Sung-kyu expressed his gratitude: “Whether the seats were filled or not, what mattered to us was performing for even a single fan. Seeing every venue packed made us even happier and more thankful.”

Highlighting Their Latest Album

The members also spoke about their latest album, ‘LIKE INFINITE’. Lee Sung-jong shared his excitement, particularly for the music video shoot of the lead track ‘Dangerous’. “The set opening up for the choreography scene was spectacular. There’s no denying that our synergy is at its peak when we perform together,” he proudly stated.

Upcoming Movie Release

On August 11, INFINITE will be debuting their concert film, ‘INFINITE 15TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT LIMITED EDITION THE MOVIE’, in CGV theaters nationwide. Having already interacted with fans during stage greetings and special previews, the group is eager for more opportunities to engage with their audience. Their surprise announcement about future sing-along screenings has already generated excitement among fans.
