ILLIT’s Moka Suffers Finger Injury Ahead of University Festival Performance

Kpop group ILLITs Moka to perform with limited choreography after sustaining hand injury

Moka, a member of the rising K-pop girl group ILLIT, has sustained an injury to her right hand. According to an official statement released by her agency BE:LIFT Lab via the fan communication platform Weverse on May 21st, Moka recently injured her right-hand finger and received medical attention.

“Moka was diagnosed with a finger injury on her right hand and was advised by doctors to wear a protective band and minimize movement for the time being,” the statement read.

Despite the injury, Moka will still perform at a scheduled university festival on May 22nd. However, she will wear protective gear during the performance, and her choreography will be limited to avoid further injury.

The agency emphasized its commitment to prioritizing the artist’s recovery: “We ask for fans’ understanding as we adjust Moka’s performance and activities according to her condition. BE:LIFT Lab will take a flexible approach to her schedule, keeping her health and recovery as the top priority.”

They concluded, “We will do our utmost to help Moka return to full health so she can greet fans again in the best condition.”

Meanwhile, ILLIT is set to release their highly anticipated third mini-album titled ‘BOMB’ on June 16, continuing their momentum as one of the most talked-about new acts in the K-pop scene.
