Hyeri Takes Action Against Illegal Ticket Sales for 2025 Fan Meeting Tour

South Korean actress and former Girl’s Day member Hyeri is taking decisive action against the illegal resale of tickets for her upcoming 2025 fan meeting tour ‘Welcome to Hyeri’s Studio’.

On May 24, event organizer Set The Stage announced via Instagram that their investigation into suspicious ticket purchases had been completed. The investigation focused on unauthorized bookings involving macro programs and direct links, which are typically used in scalping operations.

“We have completed a thorough review of reservations suspected to have been made through irregular channels or purchased illicitly,” Set The Stage stated. “Individuals suspected of using such methods were requested to submit an explanation via email. Failure to comply or provide valid justification will result in automatic cancellation of the ticket.”

The fan meeting marks Hyeri’s first-ever solo event in celebration of her 15th debut anniversary. It is scheduled for June 7 at Ewha Womans University Samsung Hall in Seoul. Tickets sold out within a minute during the initial release on May 14, with both performances fully booked. However, alarming patterns of bulk purchases and resales—especially targeting overseas fans—have raised concerns.

Following the revelation, her management agency Sublime also weighed in. “We detected evidence of abnormal booking behavior and are conducting a meticulous investigation into suspected illegal trading activities. Any seats identified as part of illicit resale networks will be addressed accordingly,” a representative said.

Hyeri, best known for her roles in K-Dramas and her career with K-pop group Girl’s Day, continues to be a beloved figure in Korean entertainment. The incident has highlighted the ongoing issue of unfair ticketing practices that often plague popular events and artists across the globe.
