Hi-Fi Unicorn Electrifies Fans at First Solo Concert in Korea

KBand HiFi Unicorn launches Asia tour with passionate live show in Seoul Korea

Rising K-Rock band Hi-Fi Unicorn held its first-ever solo concert in Korea on March 23 at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Hongdae Live Hall, igniting the stage with raw energy and emotional resonance. The performance marked the Seoul stop of their inaugural Asia tour, titled “Beat it Beat it,” named after their Japanese major debut single.

Opening with the high-tempo track Beat it Beat it, the group thrilled fans with an electrifying set that featured originals like Butterfly and their debut song Over the Rainbow. Expressing their excitement, the members shared, “It’s our first Korean solo concert, and we’re thrilled to ‘Beat it’—your hearts tonight!” The crowd responded with thunderous applause and enthusiastic cheers.

Hi-Fi Unicorn surprised fans with stylish covers of iconic K-band and K-pop songs, demonstrating not only vocal prowess but a refined understanding of Korea’s musical heritage. Their richly arranged band sessions added a burst of color and life to the overall experience.

Signature tracks from their Japanese releases, including PHANTOM PAIN, U&I, Days, Icecream Girl, GAME, Running Away, Stay With You, and Left or Right, followed, showcasing a robust discography. Uniquely, all lyrics were translated into Korean, adding a personal touch that resonated deeply with domestic fans.

The encore began with ABC is and continued with the touching soundtrack 사랑이 내려와 from the drama 혼례대첩. The band then delivered DoReMiFa-Soul, their first original song performed during the final round of the Korean-Japanese survival show 더 아이돌 밴드: 보이즈 배틀. The emotional finish had many fans visibly moved.

Responding to non-stop encore calls, the band reignited the stage with repeat performances of Beat it Beat it, GAME, and Butterfly, bringing the 145-minute concert to an explosive close.

“Starting our career in Japan and now performing in Korea feels like a long-awaited dream come true,” the members confessed. They also teased a surprise gift to be revealed after their final show in Taipei on March 31, stirring excitement for what’s next.

Hi-Fi Unicorn continues to solidify their reputation as a ‘global rookie band’ with solid vocals, stage confidence, and a performance style honed on stages across Japan and Korea. With the Asia tour culminating in Taipei, the band has undeniably left its mark.
