Han Yoo-eun Shines in BNT Photoshoot and Talks About Her Role in ‘Spring of Youth’
Rising Korean actress Han Yoo-eun recently showcased her multifaceted charm in a stunning photoshoot with bnt, captivating fans with her elegance, mystique, and a refreshingly pure aura. Currently appearing in the ongoing drama ‘Spring of Youth’ (also known as ‘Spring of the Four Seasons’), Han plays the role of ‘Georgina,’ a producer of a popular idol group. Her calm yet confident presence has captured viewers’ attention.
Reflecting on her first significant role, Han said, “It was a lot of pressure, but thanks to the incredible staff around me, I was able to pull it off well.” Speaking about the filming environment, she shared, “The director brought so much energy to the set—it was always lively.”
Though she mostly filmed on indoor sets and didn’t cross paths with many actors, Han expressed her gratitude to veteran actors Jo Han-chul and Kim Jong-tae, who provided her with immense support. “They really guided me, and that made it easier for me to focus on my role,” she said.
Han found relatable aspects in her character Georgina, revealing, “I’m not as bold and relaxed as she is, but once I believe in something, I stick with it until the end. That level of determination is something we share.”
Her inspiration to become an actress came during winter break in high school when she was deeply moved by Kim Go-eun’s performance in the hit K-drama ‘Goblin’. Since then, her passion for acting steadily grew, leading her to take steps toward a professional career by enrolling in a drama academy.
Han also spoke about being emotionally touched by the recent Netflix series ‘A Shoulder to Cry On’. “Every actor’s performance was unforgettable, and since my parents live in Jeju, the themes around emotional and physical distance between parents and children really hit home. I cried my eyes out watching it,” she recalled.
Looking ahead, Han has her sights set on playing versatile roles, from villains and psychopaths to quirky sitcom characters. “I’m not afraid to look silly on screen. I’m confident I can pull off any character,” she said. Initially insecure about her high-tone, thin voice, Han now views it as a unique asset that sets her apart in the industry.
With aspirations to win a Best New Actress award someday, Han confessed, “Every night, I imagine my acceptance speech. I even cry watching senior actors’ speeches and find inspiration in them. I want to make my parents proud.”
Concluding the interview, she expressed a heartfelt ambition: “I hope to become an actress with longevity. I want to keep acting steadily without giving up.”
