Ghost-Seeing Labor Attorney? MBC’s ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ Teaser Drops, Led by Jung Kyung-ho

MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation) has released the first teaser for its highly anticipated Friday-Saturday drama, ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’, building excitement for its upcoming premiere on May 30 at 9:50 PM KST.

Starring Jung Kyung-ho in the lead role, the series is a comic fantasy adventure about a labor attorney who sees ghosts and resolves workplace conflicts. The teaser has already generated buzz for blending gritty humor, supernatural quirks, and an unconventional profession rarely depicted in Korean dramas.

The series is the directorial drama debut of renowned film director Lim Soon-rye, known for works such as ‘I Can Speak’, and features writing by Kim Bo-tong, best known for the OTT series ‘D.P.’. Screenwriter Yoo Seung-hee also joins the creative team, promising a narrative filled with emotional depth and comic charm.

The teaser begins with Noh Moo-jin (played by Jung Kyung-ho) launching his own labor law office, only to find himself bargaining with a supernatural force to stay alive. “If I sign this, will you really let me live?” he pleads, hinting at a mysterious contract that alters his fate. From that point on, he’s able to see ghosts — and that’s just the beginning of his bizarre journey.

Enter supporting characters like Na Hee-joo (played by Seol In-ah) and Ko Kyun-woo (played by Cha Hak-yeon), who waste no time in capitalizing on Moo-jin’s ability, pitching him as “the world’s first and only ghost-seeing labor attorney.” As Moo-jin takes on the spirits’ unresolved workplace grudges, he dives into chaotic labor sites filled with both danger and comic misadventures.

‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ steps away from the usual leads in career dramas like doctors, lawyers, and prosecutors, shining a light on labor attorneys — a fresh angle for Korean TV audiences. The supernatural twist only adds to its originality, making it one of the more bold genre mashups this season.

Jung Kyung-ho’s performance in the teaser is rich with physical comedy, dubbed “gritty action,” as he sprints, tumbles, and gets knocked around in the workplace — literally putting his body on the line as Moo-jin. His comedic desperation, combined with the offbeat chemistry between him, Seol In-ah, and Cha Hak-yeon, has fans eager for more.

Mark your calendars as ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ is set to premiere on May 30. With ghostly labor mysteries to solve and a career he never expected, Jung Kyung-ho’s latest role could deliver one of the most unique dramas of the year.
