On the day of filming, KiiiKiii had just concluded an exciting ranch experience and each member planned to spend their free time in their own way. As they returned to the cozy setting of the grandmother’s house, members Jiyoo and Sooyi embarked on a pleasant walk, embraced by expansive landscapes. It was during this relaxing stroll that Sooyi commented, “I think I smell nurungji,” referring to the traditional Korean scorched rice smell wafting from a nearby house.
Turning to cooking, their discussion naturally led to grilling samgyeopsal on a traditional iron lid. Sooyi observed that Jiyoo often took the helm when it came to grilling meat or peeling fruits, to which Jiyoo responded, “I love seeing you all enjoy what I prepare.” Her willingness to serve emerged emphatically during these candid moments.
Discovering Common Ground
Pausing to capture candid photos, they laid down at a pavilion, engaging in a delightful game of discovering similarities. “You know, we connect well,” Sooyi noted with a smile, prompting Jiyoo to jovially coin the term “Gimme-start!” as a playful inside joke about their birth months — April and May — reflecting their camaraderie.
Game Time Back at the House
Meanwhile, members Isol, Haeum, and the youngest Kiyah stayed behind, diving into board games. Kiyah’s knowledge of the game rules displayed her knack for modern gaming trends as Haeum’s bold moves heightened the excitement, juxtaposed with Isol’s measured approach that painted her as the ‘big sis,’ neatly mastering the game with ease.
