G-Dragon’s Spectacular World Tour Stops at Kyocera Dome Osaka

A Grand Performance Filled with Daisies and Fans

On March 25 and 26, G-Dragon brought his “2025 WORLD TOUR Übermensch]” to [Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, mesmerizing over 80,000 fans. The concert, filled with daisies, marked another sold-out show, illustrating the might of this K-pop icon.
Beyond Music: A Conceptual Art
Drawing inspiration from renowned philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s concept of Übermensch, G-Dragon’s tour tells a story in three stages, where the artist transforms into a superman. The performance showcases an array of high-tech visuals, including AI and butterfly-shaped lasers, along with a powerful live band, captivating the eyes and ears of the audience.
Solo Brilliance
Despite having no guest performances, G-Dragon captivated the crowd on his own for over two hours, reinforcing his status as a K-pop king. He delighted fans by riding a dragon bike through the crowd and performing his hit “Today” featuring Kim Jong-wan of Nell. His dynamic solo stage was a mix of vibrant dance moves and guitar gestures, especially during “TOO BAD” featuring Anderson .Paak that had the crowd cheering.

Fashion Meets Music
The evening was also a fashion spectacle, featuring a leather jacket designed by the world-renowned Yohji Yamamoto, adorned with G-Dragon’s portrait and daisies. This highlighted the artist’s fashion-forward reputation, further complemented by unique costume changes that included a striking red rose jacket with white rose details.
A Tribute of Art
Modern artist Takashi Murakami, known for his pop art, celebrated the occasion with daisy-themed wreaths. The night’s emotional climax was when fans sang BIGBANG’s “Heaven” from 2008, awaiting the encore, creating a field of daisies inside the dome.
Continuing the Journey
Following Tokyo and Bulacan, the Osaka performance is part of a larger tour that will travel to Macau in June, and continue through Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Sydney, and Melbourne. Additional dates and locations will be announced soon.
