G-DRAGON to Perform in Vietnam for the First Time in 13 Years, Sparks Nationwide Excitement

Vietnam welcomes GDRAGON back after 13 years for KSTAR SPARK IN VIETNAM 2025 concert

Global superstar G-DRAGON is set to return to Vietnam for the first time in over a decade, igniting a nationwide frenzy. According to his agency Galaxy Corporation, G-DRAGON will perform at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on June 21 as part of the highly anticipated global music event K-STAR SPARK IN VIETNAM 2025.

The ‘K-STAR SPARK’ series is a new, innovative K-pop concert experience that aims to showcase the global influence of Korean pop music with fresh concepts and daring production. G-DRAGON, who was also featured in the inaugural ‘K-STAR SPARK’ show in Bangkok earlier this year, is once again headlining the second installment — solidifying his worldwide appeal.

This marks G-DRAGON’s first performance in Vietnam since visiting with BIGBANG in 2012, making his return a highly anticipated event for Vietnamese fans longing to see the K-pop icon on stage again.

The excitement surrounding the announcement has transcended fans to local businesses. Major Vietnamese companies such as FPT, SASIN, Ahamove, DirtyCoins, Phe La, KOI Thé Vietnam, and the MINISTOP Vietnam branch, all shared creative social media tributes using the daisy flower—G-DRAGON’s symbolic icon. From ramen noodle and yolk daisies to cardboard box petals, each brand added its own twist in celebrating the artist’s arrival.

This wave of enthusiasm comes on the heels of G-DRAGON being invited by Brigitte Macron to perform at France’s charity event “Pieces Jaunes,” and his upcoming headliner role at the mega festival HEAD IN THE CLOUDS Los Angeles 2025 on May 31.

The Vietnamese concert, held in a 40,000-capacity stadium, adds to the South Korean artist’s expanding global presence, and fans eagerly await what show-stopping performance G-DRAGON will deliver this time.

Up next, G-DRAGON continues his G-DRAGON 2025 World Tour (Übermensch) across 11 more cities including Osaka, Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Australia’s Sydney and Melbourne. Additional tour dates and locations are set to be announced soon.

Furthermore, his multimedia showcase G-DRAGON Media Exhibition: Übermensch will launch its first global tour starting May 30 in Shanghai, running until June 22, captivating international audiences with his artistic vision.
