Former AOA Member Do-hwa Announces Upcoming Wedding in June
Do-hwa, formerly known as Chanmi of the popular K-pop girl group AOA (Ace of Angels), has announced her upcoming wedding in June. On April 8, she posted a heartfelt message on her personal Instagram, sharing the joyful news directly with her fans.
“To everyone who has supported and watched over me until now, I have something very personal to share with you,” she wrote. “I’ve met someone I want to walk the rest of my life with, and we will be getting married this coming June.”
She continued, “He’s someone who has supported me through every moment, stayed by my side with kindness and warmth, and I’m so thankful.” She added that she would introduce him to fans gradually in the near future.
Do-hwa asked for warm blessings and prayers, saying, “Your support will give us great strength going forward.” She also expressed her apologies to friends and acquaintances who may have heard the news through her post first. “I’ll make sure to reach out to each of you soon,” she promised.
Do-hwa debuted in 2012 as Chanmi in AOA, capturing the spotlight with hit songs like ‘Miniskirt’, ‘Short Hair’, and ‘Heart Attack’. After parting ways with FNC Entertainment last year, she rebranded herself as Do-hwa and embarked on a new career path. This wedding news marks another beautiful milestone in her journey.
