Kim So Hee, formerly known as Sohee of the K-pop group ALICE), recently spoke out against persistent rumors via her Instagram account. On August 31st, she posted, ‘There seem to be a lot of people spreading ridiculous rumors. However, I won’t pay attention to them. I’m living happily, and I’ll try to update my Instagram more often.’

Earlier, Sohee’s acquaintance, Jiyoon Mi, who also appeared on Ulzzang Generation, shared a fan’s inquiry. The fan asked, ‘Is it true that Sohee from ALICE met her husband at Ilpro?’ To this, Sohee retorted, ‘What’s Ilpro? I actually met my husband at a birthday party of a friend I filmed with. If anyone knows the personal details to help with legal action, please let me know.’

Jiyoon Mi also responded, saying, ‘Is this some kind of new-age inconsiderate person (She used the term “dorang”)? Turning someone into a bar girl in an instant is so easy, it seems. If anyone claims I was a bar girl, just come forth with one real person who saw me there. If there are colleagues who worked with me, please speak up. Our lawyer would have a tough time. Personal Milestone
In April 2024, Sohee announced her marriage to a businessman 15 years her senior and her retirement from the entertainment industry. In her handwritten letter, she said, ‘I will embark on the second chapter of my life as Kim So Hee, not ALICE’s Sohee anymore. I’ll live happily so you won’t need to worry. Thank you for all your love. I’ll remember and cherish it forever.’
