Filipino rising star Ashtine Olviga marked a memorable birthday this year as she was honored with a series of fan-organized celebrations in Seoul, South Korea. Thanks to dedicated votes from fans via the popular K-pop fan voting platform Idolpick, Olviga reached significant milestones that led to high-visibility birthday promotions in one of Asia’s most vibrant pop culture capitals.

According to Idolpick’s announcement on May 19, Ashtine Olviga achieved an impressive 107,405 total votes during the platform’s special birthday voting event, held between April 7 and April 16. This voting campaign targeted stars born in May and offered a trio of reward tiers based on vote counts.

Fans who helped reach 40,000 ‘picks’ secured a congratulatory pop-up banner on the Idolpick app and website, an online press feature, and a one-day digital billboard advertisement at Seodaemun Station. By surpassing 100,000 picks, Olviga unlocked a three-day support campaign, running billboard ads from May 19 to May 21 at the same key Seoul subway location.

Although she didn’t reach the final 1st place prize, which would have added a seven-day LED billboard in bustling Myeong-dong, the multi-day campaign at Seodaemun still marks a major fan-led achievement.

Born in 2001, Ashtine Olviga is actively capturing the hearts of Gen Z audiences in the Philippines, not only with her adorable looks but also with her multifaceted talents in singing and acting. Her rising popularity across Asia is a testament to the increasing globalization of fandom culture, and the Idolpick success is just one more proof of her star power beyond borders.
