FIFTY FIFTY’s Label ATTRACT Secures Strategic Investment from YES24
K-pop entertainment company ATTRACT, best known as the agency behind globally rising girl group FIFTY FIFTY, has successfully secured a strategic equity investment from Korea’s leading online bookstore and content distributor YES24.
According to industry sources on May 14, YES24 acquired approximately a 5% stake in ATTRACT, further solidifying the two companies’ partnership following previous investments.
Back in 2023, ATTRACT had already attracted capital from YES24 and listed apparel manufacturer HANSAE through convertible bond (CB) issuance, which valued the company at approximately KRW 60 billion. The recent equity deal marks a deeper commitment to long-term collaboration and is anticipated to lay the groundwork for ATTRACT’s future Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Industry experts point to the breakout global success of FIFTY FIFTY as a key driver behind the latest funding round. The girl group became a global phenomenon after charting on the Billboard Hot 100, earning a series of accolades including Rising Star and Discovery of the Year at various music awards ceremonies both in Korea and abroad.
FIFTY FIFTY’s third mini-album, Day & Night, released last month, recorded five times the first-week album sales of the group’s previous work and maintained top positions on music charts worldwide — further validating their growing audience reach and performance power.
Founded by entertainment industry veteran Jeon Hong-joon — a producer for major Korean artists like Shim Soo-bong, Byun Jin-sub, Yoon Mi-rae, Lim Jeong-hee, and Bobby Kim — ATTRACT has set its sights on becoming a major global player in the entertainment sector.
With fresh capital infusion and a clear roadmap for global expansion, ATTRACT is well-positioned to drive further success for FIFTY FIFTY while accelerating its progress toward becoming Korea’s next entertainment powerhouse.
