EXO’s Kai returned to the music scene on April 21, 2025, with his fourth mini-album, Wait On Me. This marked his solo comeback after two years, striving to redefine the matured ‘Kai style’. The album features seven new tracks, including the title song Wait On Me and pre-release track Adult Swim, which garnered positive reviews from fans globally.

Solo Concert Tours and Magazines Features
Following the successful comeback, Kai embarked on his first solo tour, KAION, selling out shows in Seoul and Kuala Lumpur, and continuing to perform in Macau, Jakarta, Singapore in June, Taipei, Manila in July, and Bangkok, Yokohama, Hong Kong in August.
Additionally, Kai graced the covers of major magazines like Esquire, W Korea, and Elle, showcasing his fashion versatility with brands like Ralph Lauren, Hublot, and Versace. His reputation as a ‘photo shoot master’ continues to grow.
Expanding into Popular Media
Kai also made appearances on various shows such as Running Man, Salon Drip, Cellphone KODE, and serves as a fixed MC on the web variety show Criminal: A Man Who Changes Daily.
