The announcement came through INB100’s (also known as INB) official social channels on April 25, sending fans worldwide into excitement with a cryptic “coming soon” teaser video. The teaser opens with a firmly closed elevator door in an unknown space. As the doors part, dozens of pillow-like plushies tumble out, creating a dreamlike, surreal atmosphere. Hidden messages and sketches on the elevator walls teasing lyrics or themes from the upcoming release hint at BAEKHYUN’s evolving artistry.
Essence of Reverie arrives approximately eight months after BAEKHYUN’s last mini album ‘Hello, World’. Known for carving his distinct sound and identity through each release, the new album is expected to elevate his musical narrative even further, defining what fans and critics alike have begun calling ‘BAEKHYUN’s genre.’
