Empire State Building Shines in BTS Jin’s ‘Echo’ Colors to Celebrate New Album
In a stunning tribute to BTS member Jin and his newly released mini-album ‘Echo’, the iconic Empire State Building in New York City lit up in a kaleidoscope of blue, pink, yellow, and white on June 21 (KST). The lighting ceremony marked the official celebration of Jin’s second solo album launch and sent a symbolic message of hope, love, joy, and new beginnings to fans worldwide.
Jin, who attended the lighting ceremony, stood proudly in front of the landmark and shared his thoughts with fans. “Just as music illuminates our hearts, the Empire State Building lights up New York tonight,” he said. “Blue represents hope, pink symbolizes love, yellow stands for joy, and white signifies a new beginning. These colors reflect the messages we want to share through ‘Echo’.”
Jin expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans, the global A.R.M.Y, saying, “You have always been my inspiration and strength, echoing across the world. None of this would have been possible without your love.”
As part of the event, Jin gifted the audience with an emotional live performance of the title track ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’. His voice resonated through the heart of Manhattan, drawing cheers and applause from hundreds of fans who had gathered to show their support.
This New York City moment won’t be the last time fans see Jin on American screens. The day after the lighting ceremony, Jin is also scheduled to appear on NBC’s popular late-night program, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Following the show, on June 23, a special fan event titled “Hi-Seokjin” will be held, giving A.R.M.Y a rare and intimate opportunity to connect with the beloved star.
Jin’s presence in New York is not only a celebration of a new musical chapter, but a beautiful reminder of how global artistry and fan love can illuminate even the tallest skyline.
