E’LAST’s Powerful Comeback: ‘Versus’ Dominates Global K-Pop Charts

ELAST returns with Versus featuring Crazy Train achieving iTunes chart success worldwide

Rising K-pop boy group E’LAST has made a powerful return to the global stage with their fifth mini album ‘Versus’, released on June 7. The album has made a strong debut by reaching No. 1 on the iTunes K-pop album chart in New Zealand, No. 3 in the United States, and No. 11 in Japan, among other impressive chart entries in eight countries worldwide.

Highlighting the group’s international popularity, the title track ‘Crazy Train’ and other included songs have landed in the top ranks of the iTunes K-pop Song Charts in eight countries including the U.S., U.K., and Canada. This showcases E’LAST’s growing presence on the global music map.

Domestically, the release has also seen significant success. ‘Versus’ ranked seventh on the Hanteo Chart’s Weekly Physical Album Chart (May 12–18), further solidifying E’LAST’s increasing domination in the K-pop industry.

The new mini album is the group’s first release in about a year, following their full-length album ‘Everlasting’ in May last year. ‘Versus’ includes a total of five tracks: ‘CRAZY TRAIN’, ‘GOTHAM’, ‘EMERGENCY’, ‘DRIVE’, and ‘MISERY’.

Well-known producer Ryan Jhun participated in the album production, and group members Wonhyuk and Wonjun personally contributed to the lyrics of the track ‘EMERGENCY’, enhancing the album’s uniqueness and depth with their personal musical style.

Marking the end of a continuing narrative universe, E’LAST‘s latest project opens a new chapter in their artistic evolution. The upgraded sound quality and sleek choreography offer a bolder and even more refined performer identity, leaving an undeniable impression on local and international K-pop fans alike.
