Dreamcatcher’s First Sub-Unit UAU Launches Countdown to Debut Mini Album

Dreamcatcher’s long-awaited first sub-unit, comprised of JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon, is officially stepping into the spotlight. The trio, collectively known as UAU, kicked off their countdown to debut by unveiling the schedule for their first mini album, Playlist #You Are You.

On June 7, UAU shared their promotional scheduler via Dreamcatcher’s official social media channels. According to the release, fans can expect a lineup of teasers including individual images, group teaser photos, a detailed tracklist, a highlight medley, a dance preview, and a music video teaser starting with pre-orders launching on June 9.

The vintage-themed imagery teased in the scheduler is already sparking excitement, heightening anticipation for the concept of their debut. Notably, a mysterious event marked only with a question mark is slated for June 21, stirring curiosity among fans about what surprise might be in store.

UAU — an acronym and clever play on the phrase “You Are You” — aims to deliver a musical message encouraging listeners to discover their true selves amid the monotony of everyday life. With authenticity and emotional resonance as their signature, the unit’s artistic vision promises to hit a relatable chord with a global audience.

The unit formation comes eight years after Dreamcatcher’s debut, bringing together three core members who have captivated international fans with their talent and charisma.
