DKZ’s Jaechan Returns with Sophisticated Solo Mini-Album ‘JCFACTORY vol.2’

Jaechan, a rising solo star and member of K-pop boy group DKZ, is making a stunning return with his second solo mini-album JCFACTORY vol.2. On June 13 at midnight KST, Dongyo Entertainment‘s official YouTube channel unveiled a highlight medley video teasing what fans can expect from the highly anticipated project.

The highlight video, which feels like a stylish magazine shoot, features visual snippets of Jaechan’s concept photo sessions along with audio previews of the album’s five tracks: the title track “Poster Boy”, “Paradise”, “The Light”, “Step to you”, and “Y.O.U (solo ver.)”. Each track embodies a unique emotion and musical texture, providing a broad listening experience for fans.

JCFACTORY vol.2 marks an evolution in Jaechan’s artistry. Most notably, “Poster Boy” showcases his refined vocals over a Chill R&B soundscape, delivering a powerful message: “My footsteps are a sign of the new era” and “A moment to open a whole new world.” These lyrics encourage listeners to shine in their respective paths with confidence.

The album includes “Paradise”, originally premiered during his birthday fan meeting in December last year. “The Light” is a lyrical ballad that reveals a more emotional side of Jaechan, paired beautifully with a subtle instrumental. “Step to you” is trendy yet minimalist, blending clean guitar riffs with catchy melodies. Completing the album is “Y.O.U (solo ver.)”, a newly re-recorded solo take on a 2020 DKZ unit song.
