DAY6 Wraps Up Electrifying North American Tour with Sold-Out New York Show
The K-pop rock sensation DAY6 set the final stage ablaze in their North American tour with a sold-out concert at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York on April 19 (local time). The event marked their triumphant return to the U.S. after nearly six years since their 2019 ‘DAY6 WORLD TOUR ‘GRAVITY’.
This was a part of their ongoing ‘DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR ‘Forever Young’, and followed two also sold-out performances in Los Angeles earlier that week. With their return to one of the most iconic stages in the world, DAY6 once again proved their global reach and loyal fanbase.
The group—comprising Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon—opened the night with ‘Best Part’ and followed with back-to-back hits such as ‘Be My Page,’ ‘Beautiful,’ ‘Letting Go,’ and ‘Congratulations.’ Their diverse discography, including more recent crowd favorites like ‘I’m Serious,’ ‘Happy,’ and ‘Welcome to the Show,’ showcased their evolution as a band and left fans in awe of their live performance prowess.
Their fandom, known as My Day, sang along passionately during interactive segments featuring songs like ‘Not a Joke,’ ‘That’s True,’ ‘I Like You,’ and ‘Sweet Chaos.’ The concert reached a fever pitch when DAY6 surprised fans with a rendition of Sting’s ‘Englishman in New York’, igniting the crowd with their versatility and homage to musical legends.
DAY6 expressed heartfelt gratitude at the closing of the show: “Today marks the final day of our North American tour. We will never forget this moment. Thank you for all the love and energy you gave us—we promise to return it back to you. Until then, please stay healthy and happy. Let DAY6’s music be your strength wherever you are.”
The North American leg concluded with three fully booked shows—two in Los Angeles and one in New York—testament to DAY6’s powerful global resonance. The group’s polished band dynamics and unwavering stage energy reaffirmed their status as a leading K-pop rock act.
DAY6 continues their world tour across 23 cities with 45 shows, heading next to Yokohama on April 26-27 and Jakarta on May 3. They’ll wrap up with a highly anticipated six-night run at KSPO Dome at Olympic Park in Seoul from May 9 to 18—each show already sold out and set to feature a 360-degree stage experience.
