DAY6 Sets Historic Milestone with 6 Sold-Out Shows at KSPO DOME
Korean pop-rock band DAY6 has solidified their status as one of K-pop’s most powerful live acts by selling out six consecutive solo concerts at the iconic KSPO DOME in Seoul. The finale of their “DAY6 3rd World Tour: FOREVER YOUNG” will span from May 9–11 and May 16–18, delivering a truly immersive experience with 360-degree open-stage production.
This marks the band’s first-ever six-day run at the prestigious venue, setting a new milestone not only for themselves but for the K-rock genre. Pre-sale tickets for official fan club members (dubbed My Day) quickly neared full capacity, and general sales completed a total of six sell-outs within minutes, showcasing their unmatched ticket power.
The 360-degree configuration adds historic weight to the event, maximizing audience interaction from every angle. This staging builds upon DAY6’s previous successes, including their landmark performances at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, Incheon Inspire Arena, and their pioneering slot at Gocheok Sky Dome—the first ever by a K-pop band.
Leader Sungjin, who is currently touring in the U.S., addressed the milestone during a SNS livestream with heartfelt appreciation. “Honestly, I had a lot of confidence this would happen,” he said. “It’s not arrogance, it’s belief in our music and the journey we’ve built with our fans. Even if it hadn’t sold out, I wouldn’t be discouraged. We’d simply adjust and keep moving forward.”
He also revealed initial hesitations from other band members and even the management when first proposing the ambitious six-show plan: “Some doubted if it was possible, but I looked at the data and believed it could work. I just wanted to welcome as many fans as possible.”
Sungjin further emphasized the role of their fandom: “People always say our fans are next level. It’s the atmosphere we build together that makes DAY6 concerts unforgettable. I’m moved by how this bond not only formed but continues to grow stronger.”
Currently on a massive world tour covering 45 concerts across 23 cities, DAY6 is captivating fans globally. Upcoming stops include Los Angeles (May 16–17), New York (May 19), Yokohama (May 26–27), and Jakarta (May 3). Their Seoul finale at the KSPO DOME will commemorate their upcoming 10th anniversary in 2025—promising a performance that’s both monumental and deeply personal.
