DAY6 Prepares for Emotional Return with New Digital Single ‘Maybe Tomorrow’
South Korean rock band DAY6 is back in the spotlight as they gear up to release their newest digital single, ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, on May 7 at 6pm KST. Ahead of the official release, the band dropped a captivating trailer film on April 28, offering fans a glimpse into the emotional and philosophical introspection that defines their upcoming song.
The trailer highlights each member—Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon—as they reflect on their personal visions of tomorrow. Sungjin metaphorically swallows a clock among many scattered across a table, remarking, “They say tomorrow always comes. But sometimes, I wonder if it really will. Especially on days when today feels too heavy. Yet, time moves on. And I’m still here.”
Young K echoes the longing and freedom of the present moment, saying, “Tomorrow isn’t here yet, but it keeps coming to mind. I wish it could be a day as sunny and free as today—or perhaps something entirely different. Can tomorrow also feel this free?”
Wonpil expresses quiet hope, stating, “In the middle of ordinary days, I sometimes think of tomorrow. Even if I don’t want to expect much, I do wish it could be just a little bit better.” Meanwhile, Dowoon grounds the message in reality, asserting, “If you stop now, tomorrow won’t come. But today, I’ve come this far.”
As the trailer concludes, the members jointly whisper, “We may not all be dreaming of the same tomorrow,” intensifying anticipation for ‘Maybe Tomorrow’.
The single’s release aligns with the final shows of DAY6’s ongoing World Tour, spanning 45 concerts in 23 cities worldwide. Marking the climax of the tour, the band will perform six sold-out shows at KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul from May 9–11 and May 16–18. The stage will feature a monumental 360-degree setup, symbolizing both the scale of their music and the powerful journey shared with their fans.
‘Maybe Tomorrow’ is expected to resonate deeply with listeners, merging DAY6’s signature emotional depth with poignant lyrical storytelling. The band’s return will undoubtedly leave a lasting mark on the global K-pop rock scene.
