Cosmic Girls’ Dayoung Embraces Role on KBS1 Career Show for Teens

On June 8th, KBS1 held a press conference in Yeouido, Seoul for its upcoming youth career program, Scout 6: Early Jobter. The event was attended by producer Choi Yoori, television personalities Jang Sung-kyu, Kwanghee, Jonathan, and Cosmic Girls’ member Dayoung.

Dayoung shared her heartfelt thoughts about the show during the event. “At first, I thought of it as a great opportunity and an honor,” she began. “But after meeting these students and seeing their passion and commitment firsthand, I felt a deep connection and responsibility.”

She went on to explain how the show has had a meaningful impact not only on her but also on her younger fans. “I received letters from young fans who said watching the show helped them understand different careers and informed their future decisions. That made me feel a sense of duty beyond simply liking the program.”

Dayoung emphasized her commitment by saying, “I want to be a great help. I truly want to continue promoting this show with sincerity and passion.”

Scout 6: Early Jobter is Korea’s only youth-focused career exploration TV program. Much like early adopters of new technology, it highlights the journeys of vocational high school students who boldly take their first steps into the workforce ahead of their peers. The show captures their growth, challenges, and spirit of innovation.

The first episode of Scout 6: Early Jobter is set to premiere on June 9 at 7:40 PM KST on KBS1.
