Close Your Eyes Members Jeon Minwook and Jang Yeo-jun Join ‘Show! Champion’ as New MCs

Rising K-pop sensation Close Your Eyes continues to capture global attention as members Jeon Minwook and Jang Yeo-jun have been officially announced as the new MCs for ‘Show! Champion’ on MBC M.

The duo will take the stage as hosts for the first time during the live broadcast on May 14 at 5 PM KST. Their appointment follows the group’s rapid ascent in the industry after debuting with their mini album ‘ETERNALT’. Within just six days, Close Your Eyes clinched No. 1 on SBS M’s ‘The Show’, followed by another win on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ just three days later, proving their status as ‘Monster Rookies’ in the 5th generation of K-pop.

Now solidifying themselves as Global Super Rookies, Jeon Minwook and Jang Yeo-jun are expected to bring dynamic energy to ‘Show! Champion’ every Wednesday with their charm, wit, and lively chemistry on screen. Their debut episode as MCs will also feature a special VCR performance that showcases their unique personalities and musical talents.

Fans can look forward to the MC duo spreading excitement not only on TV but also in person. Close Your Eyes is set to launch their first-ever solo fan meeting ‘Closer Moments’ on May 24 and 25 at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul.

Following the Seoul fan meeting, the group will embark on a five-city Asian tour meeting fans in Yokohama, Japan (June 1), Osaka (June 14), Hong Kong (June 21), and Taipei (June 28), continuing to build their international momentum.

Their new role on ‘Show! Champion’ marks another milestone in what promises to be a breakout year for the promising idol duo.
