K-pop’s emerging group CLOSE YOUR EYES (Jeon Minwook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeojun, Kim Sungmin, Song Seungho, Sakurada Kenshin, Seo Kyoungbae) delighted fans during their debut solo fan meeting, ‘CLOSER MOMENTS,’ held on May 24 and 25 at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul. The group showed their playful side by donning baseball-themed uniforms and forging a stronger bond with their growing fanbase.
Fans were treated to electrifying performances, including the title track ‘Run (Up to you)’ from the JTBC audition show Project 7, debut album title track All My Poetry, deep cuts from their discography, and an energetic cover of RIIZE’s ‘Siren.’ The setlist showcased the group’s powerful stage presence and vocal prowess.
In addition to the music, the event featured fan-centric segments like ‘Relay Dance Copy,’ ‘Random Mission,’ and ‘CLOSER’s Wish, Strike!’ bringing fans and members closer through games and interactive moments. A surprise autograph ball event saw the seven members moving around the venue, directly handing gifts and connecting with the audience. Backstage highlights, shown through a special VCR segment, revealed the behind-the-scenes efforts in preparing for the fan meeting, much to the fans’ delight and amusement.
The encore wrapped up with an emotional performance of ‘Stay 4 Good,’ reinforcing the group’s heartfelt dedication to their supporters. “Training was tough, but seeing our fans’ happy faces gave us strength. We hope our fans feel happiness every single day,” said CLOSE YOUR EYES, expressing their gratitude.
The night concluded warmly as members bid farewell to attendees at a special ‘Hi-Bye’ send-off. Following the Seoul event, CLOSE YOUR EYES is gearing up to take ‘CLOSER MOMENTS’ on tour, with stops in Yokohama on June 1, Osaka on June 14, Hong Kong on June 21, and Taipei on June 28, extending their global reach.
