Cheese Returns with ‘It just happened’ — A Romantically Acoustic Spring Album

After nearly a decade, the beloved K-Indie artist Cheese (Dalchong) is back with her second full-length album It just happened, now available on major online music platforms.

The title track, It just happened, blends a gentle bossa nova rhythm with romantic strings and a playful woodwind section, creating a light yet emotionally resonant acoustic pop piece. The track gains further attention thanks to a special feature by Young K from DAY6, whose warm vocals harmonize beautifully with Cheese’s.

Alongside the title song, the 10-track album showcases a colorful palette of spring-inspired sounds. From the opening track Begin, to the cheeky love confession Operation Highball, the cozy and warm Truly, and the electro-synth pop RingRing featuring rapper Stella Jang, each song shines with its own charm, painting a vivid narrative of love and self-expression.

In celebration of the release, Cheese is also unveiling the music video for It just happened and will appear on a new segment of YouTube Channel Studio Ajed’s series NORAEBANG LIVE on April 25 at 8 PM KST. Fans can anticipate dynamic performances and intimate acoustic sessions.

Cheese personally contributed to the lyrics and composition of each track, enhancing the depth and authenticity of the album. Known for filling playlists with heartwarming tracks like I Like You, Madeleine Love, and What Do You Think?, her new album continues to explore the multifaceted emotions of love with elegance and charm.

To top it off, Cheese will hold a solo concert on May 17 and 18 at the Shinhan Card SOLpay Square Live Hall, with tickets currently on sale via Interpark Ticket. With her unique sound and storytelling, Cheese promises a rich musical experience that resonates long after the final note.
