Cheese and Young K Ignite Spring with Romantic Duet ‘It just happened’

South Korea’s beloved indie pop artist Cheese (featuring Dalchong) returns this spring with a heartwarming collaboration that’s capturing the ears and emotions of K-pop lovers worldwide. Teaming up with DAY6’s Young K, the two artists unveiled the second music video teaser for the title track ‘It just happened’ from Cheese’s highly anticipated second studio album of the same name.

The teaser, shared via Cheese’s official social media channels, features a young couple in school uniforms captured through nostalgic camcorder visuals. The youthful charm and sweet romance depicted take viewers on an emotional journey back to simpler times. As the teaser unfolds, the blend of Cheese and Young K’s tender vocals heightens anticipation for the full duet release.

The track ‘It just happened’ is described as an acoustic pop piece driven by a breezy bossa nova rhythm, romantic string movements, and upbeat woodwinds. Young K’s feature elevates the track with a vocal harmony that perfectly suits the spring season, promising to land on countless listener playlists across streaming platforms.

Cheese’s full-length second album It just happened includes ten tracks in total, with titles such as ‘Operation Highball! (작전명 하이볼)’, ‘Truly’, and a synth-pop gem titled ‘RingRing (링링)’ featuring fellow indie sensation Stella Jang. True to her artistic sensibility, Cheese took part in writing and composing every track to express the many shades of love.

Alongside the album release, Cheese will host a solo concert on May 17 and 18 at the Shinhan Card SOLpay Square Live Hall in Seoul. Ticket reservations for the event go live at 7 PM via Interpark Ticket.

It just happened, Cheese’s second full album, is scheduled to be released across major online music platforms at 6 PM KST on April 24.
