Charisma Meets Cuteness: Jin Seo-yeon Surprises on Korean Food Travel Reality Show ‘No Plan, Plan’

South Korea’s hit food-travel reality show ‘No Plan, Plan’ continues to charm audiences with unexpected guest appearances and delicious local eats. In its 30th episode, airing June 23 at 9:10 PM KST on MBN and Channel S, actress Jin Seo-yeon joins hosts Jun Hyun-moo and Gwaktube (Gwak Jun-bin) for a soulful culinary adventure back in Gangwon-do.

The episode kicks off at Donghae Eodal Harbor, where Jun Hyun-moo announces, “This is our 45th street dining mission, back in beautiful Gangwon-do.” Their journey begins with a showdown between two rival restaurants famous for Jangkalguksu, a spicy noodle soup beloved in the region.

Each host splits up to tackle a different restaurant. Jun Hyun-moo heads to a hotspot favored by the MZ generation (Millennials and Gen Z), while Gwaktube opts for a 64-year-old traditional eatery. Their taste tests dive deep into the flavors and cultural roots of the popular dish.

After warming up with hearty Jangkalguksu, the duo travels to Gangneung Gyeongpo, where a mystery guest awaits. Jun teases, “Our eating buddy is a little scary… a triathlete and master of self-discipline.” Gwaktube recognizes her from afar—it’s none other than charismatic actress Jin Seo-yeon from the film Dokjeon.

Despite her intimidating screen persona, Jin surprises everyone by arriving with a cute keychain and energetically shouting, “I’m cute, everyone!” Her bubbly transformation continues as she switches to selfie cam mode, creating a playful vlog that has both hosts in stitches.

The trio then heads to a hand-picked restaurant famous for Gangneung Chodang Tofu, a silky tofu specialty unique to the region. Jin shares that she’s been living on Jeju Island for the past two and a half years, frequently visiting local saunas where friendly locals pamper her with fresh seafood and produce.
