BTS’s V has once again proven his global impact as his solo track “Slow Dancing” surpasses 500 million streams on Spotify, securing his position among today’s most streamed solo K-pop artists.

This marks V’s third song to cross the 500 million milestone, following the viral successes of “Love Me Again” and “FRI(END)S.” Notably, “Love Me Again” reached an impressive 1 billion streams as of December 14, 2023, officially joining Spotify’s billion streams club.

These milestones are part of V’s debut solo album Layover, which includes six tracks and has amassed over 2.3 billion total streams. “Slow Dancing,” the title track from Layover, debuted at #51 on the Billboard Hot 100, #3 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and #4 on the Global 200 chart—showcasing his outstanding global reach.

In the UK, the song made an equally strong impact, debuting at #1 on both the UK Official Single Downloads and Single Sales charts.
