The song debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Japan Streaming Songs chart on July 31, 2024, and has shown impressive longevity, remaining on the chart for 41 consecutive weeks. As of the May 7, 2025 issue, “Who” currently sits at No. 84 on the chart.
MUSE, Jimin’s sophomore album, debuted impressively at No. 3 on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart. As of May 7, 2025, the album has re-entered the chart, climbing five places to No. 80, marking its 26-week chart presence.
Jimin has also made history on the Billboard Japan Artist 100 chart by becoming the first foreign solo artist to reach No. 1. This week, he jumped four places to No. 84, maintaining his position on the chart for 53 total weeks, showcasing consistent popularity and fan support in Japan.
Moreover, “Who” previously made headlines by staying a record-breaking 33 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S., the longest for a K-pop soloist, and it continues to show resilience in Japan with a 32-week run on the Japan Hot 100.
This achievement proves Jimin’s global reach as a solo artist and solidifies his reputation not only as a member of BTS but also as a standout individual performer leading the charge in the global K-pop movement.
