The Return of BTS Members
BTS Members RM and V are set to complete their military service and rejoin their fans on the 10th of this month. RM served in the 15th Infantry Division’s Military Band, while V fulfilled his duties with the Special Military Police Unit of the 2nd Corps. The two have spent 1 year and 7 months serving their nation.
As more BTS members prepare for their discharge, the anticipation grows among their global fanbase, known as ARMY. Many fans are expected at RM and V’s discharge ceremony, yet the agency has urged fans to prioritize safety.
Big Hit Music’s Announcement
Big Hit Music stated, “RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are set to complete their service as active-duty soldiers without any special events on their discharge days.” The agency further advised fans to refrain from visiting the sites, emphasizing safety for both artists and fans.
BTS’s Military Hiatus and Return
BTS entered a military hiatus after releasing their anthology album ‘Proof’ in June 2022. The oldest member, Jin, enlisted in December 2022, with other members following. Jin was discharged this June, and J-Hope followed in October, actively pursuing solo projects. Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on the 11th, while Suga, serving as a social service worker, will conclude his duties on the 21st. This marks the completion of military service for all BTS members and heralds a comeback as a full group.
Celebrations Ahead
To celebrate, BTS will mark their 12th debut anniversary on the 13th by hosting the ‘2025 BTS Festa’ on the 13th and 14th at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi-do. A photo wall honoring the event will be set up at Ilsan Lake Park, and banners will be displayed at the Ilsanseo-gu Office and Goyang Tourist Information Center to build excitement. Simultaneously, J-Hope will hold an encore performance for his first solo world tour at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.
