BTS Jin and Coldplay’s Heartwarming Reunion at Music of the Spheres Tour in Seoul
BTS member Jin and global rock band Coldplay have once again captured hearts worldwide with their special collaboration at the Music of the Spheres World Tour held at Goyang Stadium in South Korea.
On April 28th KST, Coldplay’s official X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts delighted fans by posting photos and videos from their Seoul concerts, held from April 16th onwards. Among numerous guest highlights, two special photos featured Jin alongside Coldplay. One of the videos showcased an enthusiastic sing-along with the audience led by Chris Martin, while the other depicted Jin and Martin joyfully running and celebrating on stage, symbolizing their strong bond.
The images of Chris Martin lifting Jin high with a beaming smile and singing together have stirred massive excitement among fans globally. Jin appeared as a special guest on two separate concert days — April 19th and April 25th — performing his solo track co-written with Coldplay, ‘The Astronaut‘, as well as their collaborative hit ‘My Universe‘.
Praised for his stunning visuals and clear, powerful vocals, Jin once again earned the acclaim of fans and media alike, enhancing his reputation as ‘Worldwide Handsome.’
Chris Martin openly expressed his gratitude toward Jin during the concert, stating, “Thank you for introducing us to BTS and for always being so kind. Thank you for singing with us today. We love you always.” Their deep friendship was earlier proven when Martin gifted Jin his personal guitar during BTS’s New York visit in 2021, following Jin’s admiration for the instrument.
Hinting at Jin’s presence, Coldplay teased fans by posting an image of ‘Wootteo,’ a character created by Jin, on their social media before arriving in Seoul. Ever since 2022, Wootteo has traveled with Coldplay throughout their world tour, symbolizing their camaraderie with Jin.
After Jin’s memorable stage appearance on April 20th, Coldplay shared heartfelt thanks, saying, “Thank you Jin, thank you Seoul. We will never forget these moments,” emphasizing their deep attachment through a purple heart emoji.
Further cementing this special bond, Jin posted his personal concert moments with Coldplay on Instagram on April 26th. Their heartwarming performances and friendship have proven once again the tremendous global influence and emotional impact of their collaboration.
