BTS Jimin Tops Japanese Popularity Polls for 25 Consecutive Months
Global sensation BTS member Jimin continues his reign in Japan as he claims the top spot in a prominent Hallyu popularity poll for the 25th consecutive month.
Japanese media outlet Danmee recently conducted a survey titled “April 2025 Most Popular Male K-pop Idol Brighter Than Cherry Blossoms,” where Jimin secured 4046 votes out of 7146, earning a dominant 56.63% share of total votes. This achievement marks an impressive 25-month streak at number one, reflecting his unmatched fanbase and influence.
The survey stands out for its strict one-person-one-vote rule and bases its ranking on multiple metrics such as brand reputation index (BRAND REPUTATION_INDEX), monthly mentions on X (formerly Twitter), and popularity in Danmee-related content and music videos.
In addition to this achievement, Jimin also captured the top position in a spring-themed poll titled “Male Idol With More Exciting Pink Hair Than Cherry Blossoms,” reflecting his popularity across both South Korea and Japan.
Further cementing his legacy, from May 31 through June 29, an art exhibition highlighting the musical journey of Jimin’s solo albums ‘FACE’ and the highly anticipated ‘MUSE’ will be held in New York City. The exhibition, titled “The Truth Untold,” will offer fans an immersive experience into the evolution of his solo artistry.
With continuous fan recognition and momentum leading up to his latest exhibition, Jimin’s global presence shows no signs of slowing down.
