BOYNEXTDOOR Turn Up the Heat at KCON JAPAN 2025 with Explosive Performances and Album Teaser
Fast-rising K-pop boy group BOYNEXTDOOR turned heads at KCON JAPAN 2025 on May 10, delivering a high-energy set and previewing their upcoming fourth mini album, No Genre. Held at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, the event saw the six-member group (Seongho, Liu, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Lee Han, Unhak) ignite the stage with jaw-dropping performances.
The group performed a dynamic four-song set including their newest title track Nice Guy from third mini album 19.99, fan-favorite Serenade from their debut single WHO!, Earth, Wind & Fire from mini album HOW?, and the previously released track 오늘만 I LOVE YOU.
The tightly synchronized choreography and commanding stage presence highlighted why BOYNEXTDOOR is hailed as a “next-gen performance powerhouse.” Performing with handheld microphones, their engaging presence had fans chanting fanchants and cheering in explosive unison throughout the set.
The biggest surprise of the night came when BOYNEXTDOOR teased their upcoming album No Genre by revealing a snippet of their title song I Feel Good, including a catchy chorus that immediately sent fans roaring with excitement.
“We promise this album will blow your expectations away,” said the group, hyping the June 13 release date. “We’re coming back with an amazing performance, so please give us lots of love.”
No Genre reflects the group’s vision to break free from musical boundaries and to pursue the sound they truly want. With contributions from members Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, and Unhak in the composition, and support from prominent producers ZICO and Pop Time, the track I Feel Good oozes energy and genre-defying vibes destined to dominate playlists.
BOYNEXTDOOR will make their official comeback on June 13 at 6 PM KST with No Genre, followed by a fan showcase and numerous appearances on music programs and online content to kick off their promotional activities.
